As some of you may already know, for the last 3 years I've been working with the drum software company call Toontrack www.toontrack.com ( EZ Drummer ). I have been recording the drum samples for the new drum software program Superior 2.0 that is scheduled for a May release.

In the last few months I've also been busy recording the midi library for the program and I have tried to cover as many styles of music as possible. The intention of this midi library is to make it useful for the Producer/Songwriter as well as for any musician who would like to have real drums on his/her music. The difference between this library and most of the midi drums out there is that I play the grooves on an E drum kit exactly the same way I would play them on acoustic drums. This approach creates a big difference as it preserves the feel(grooves are played to a click but not quantized).

Soon I'll have some example to play on my web site so you guys can check it out.

Also, I have received many e-mails from drummers all over asking about the E drum kit I use in my set up. The drums are HART DYNAMIC www.hartdynamics.com . The midi interface is the TD-20 by Roland.
